Starbucks in Dortmund

Today I was treated rudely by 2 employees. Usually everyone is nice except for the two of them.

I was there with my girlfriend, her (12) was doing badly because of the monthly prb. I (14) bought you something there, no matter how expensive you are, we conjured a smile on your face together even if you are too expensive, that's why 4 stars

It was my first time in a Starbucks, my daughter wanted a caramel frapucino or something like that. And yet had no plan what to take, I got advice from the nice seller. A cappuccino iced coffee with caramel. Delicious ... a bit expensive but 😋

Was there around 3:30 p.m. yesterday. Unfortunately encountered a very unfriendly staff. I wanted to redeem my reward, but this apparently didn't work because “there had been problems with the system for weeks.” Paying with the Starbucks app would work (doesn't make any sense to me). The pumpkin spiced latte wasn't available there either. The staff urgently needs instruction on how to deal with customers! It was definitely better there.

.... the location in the middle of the city center on the Alter Markt is of course great and you can sit outside and inside really nice to watch 😉 The coffee drinks are tasty, hot and vegan is not a problem 👍 However, I find the shop so overpriced that I rarely go in there. Even the smallest coffee drink costs just under 4 euros and then up, which I actually find quite disproportionate. One can only hope that at least the nice employees will be paid accordingly well (according to the media, that is probably not the case) !!!!!

Very nice staff. The cake counter, however, didn't look quite as appealing.

Much too expensive, bought a vanilla frappuccino for about 5 € and what can you say, a spoonful of crush ice, 2 spoons of vanilla ice cream and a dash of milk and you have the drink for less than 1 € .. Here you only buy the name ..

The drinks and the other things are good. But more space would be better because the cafe is always full

First of all, the service is great and you can get to it quickly, regardless of whether it is full or not. The drinks are great, the lemonades are really great and the snacks you get are really delicious and fresh. Another good point is that there are no more plastic straws. Why the 1 point deduction? Because I think that in the summer or on hot days it was very warm inside despite the air conditioning, which bothered me a bit.

Always great there. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and rarely sold out. Lately there are no more straws but lids with which you fold the closure. Now there are paper cups and lids and we have it 😁

Delicious drinks at overpriced prices. Nice outside terrace, where tables are not cleaned during Corona times. Toilets (September 8th around 11 am) terribly dirty. Since the shop was only opened shortly before that day and there were only a few guests, it was definitely dirt from the day before. That is more than unhygienic !!!

Great atmosphere and very nice service :-) Due to the slightly “hidden” location, it is better and quieter than the one in the Thier.

Always satisfied, the staff could sometimes be a bit more polite, but otherwise a great branch. The only drawback is that the tables are often full and not cleared.

Toilets and everything else are closed 15 minutes before the end of the working day .. It is a shame that it is not closed on time at 8 pm .. Therefore 3 stars .. Tastes good :) Info to the owner: Time: approx. 7:48 pm, today (07/31/2020)

Great Starbucks branch, friendly staff and top products. I had nothing to complain about. Coffee and cinnamon roll were delicious.

Excellent! The best Starbucks store in the world. The coffees are delicious, the rooms are pleasant and the staff are incredibly friendly. You can't go to a better café! Everyone should have been there once.

Was hard to hold conversation and the bathroom was too small for ladies with month emergencies. However employees were stellar and were careful not to mix up my friend and I's order. They were the same except I needed lactose free milk.

Nice place to work/study.

Good stable internet connection and A/C if you need to spend some hours working. Best quite time 10-12am. In the afternoon it’s too noisy (not good for online meetings).

This Starbucks as a very busy and popular place in the city centre of Dortmund. You will find all the typical Starbucks classics and maybe also a nice place to sit. This cosy Starbucks saved our little family from the biting cold outside. Note: don't throw the bill. It contains the magic passcode you will need to get to the toilets.

Lovely small Starbucks. Staff was polite and performing fast. The coffee was good as always in Starbucks. Recommend!

Central Starbucks. Good as always. Just this guy taking orders is shouting too loud. Very annoying. ☹️

Well the coffee is good as always, the service was also good. Quite big sitting place and the prices are ok.

Usually, Starbucks is good. It s a familiar place that feels like a distant part of home. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. At this Starbucks, I ordered my usual Sunday, cafe mocha, in a new store. I handed the server my card. S/he made a big deal about how I couldn't get the points. No big deal, just found them a bit rude. The other stores that I have visited, usually understand; and, the servers do their magic behind the till. Regardless, the space itself was lovely. The restrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

A good hangout to catch-up on emails and postings. Regular Starbucks fare, very friendly barista service, strong WIFI signal, and plenty of chairs/tables/counter space. And located right in the middle of the main downtown area.

Too much plastic including plastic straws (I thought they said they will stop using plastic straws, probably this statement they didn't get all the way to Germany). Everything comes in plastic by default, no matter if a it's take away or to stay. .

This is my go-to StarBucks whenever I visit Köln. After parking at Hansaplatz, this is nearby and open even early in the morning. Getting energy to get through the day. Cheers!

Starbucks is Starbucks. Nothing wrong just not worth more than 3 stars for me. Had a good cheesecake and got my empty water bottle refilled :)
